A Little Free Library for Neurodiverse Minds

Borrow • Read • Return • Belong

HOW IT WORKS

Inclusive Reads is a Little Free Library open to everyone in our community. You’ll find it outside:

📍 2 Claypit Cottage, SG5 3DN (North Hertfordshire)

Here’s how you can join in:

  1. Borrow a Book – Choose any book that interests you from the library.
  2. Read & Enjoy – Spend time with your chosen story, at your own pace.
  3. Return or Replace – When you’re finished, bring the book back or leave another book for someone else to enjoy. This is a free community service, and returning books ensures that the shelves stay full and everyone has a chance to enjoy them.
  4. Belong & Connect – By sharing stories, you’re helping to build a community where every mind is valued.

I’m Hayley

As an independent Occupational Therapist in North Hertfordshire, I believe that reading is a valued occupation. Stories, knowledge, and words can bring joy, spark learning, and most importantly, help us feel connected to ourselves and to each other.

I created this Little Free Library for Neurodiverse Minds to give back to my local community, and to create a welcoming space where books can be shared, discovered, and enjoyed. Alongside the library, I’ve built this online space to celebrate books that have supported us, inspired us, or simply brought us pleasure.

At the heart of Inclusive Reads is a simple idea: through books we can nurture belonging, togetherness, and connection. This library is here for everyone: Borrow • Read • Return • Belong.
